Here’s how to do it
Open Knowledge in AI Studio.
Select Upload documents and choose one or several PDF, Word, Excel, CSV or text files accepted by the uploader.
Wait for uploading and reading to finish. Follow any displayed size, format or extraction errors.
Check that each successful file appears in Documents & websites.
Review the source-derived business overview and the indexing status before generating new work.
What happens next
Successfully processed sources are saved against this workspace and can inform its AI context.
Good to know
Reading a document and using it in a particular answer are different steps. AI retrieves relevant information within context limits; it does not paste every document into every request. Scanned or unreadable files may need a text-readable replacement.
