Start a research question

Find sourced opportunities relevant to your business and audience.

Before you begin

Manage business knowledge permission, source documents and available research/AI access.

Here’s how to do it

  1. Open Research after adding sources to Knowledge.

  2. Enter a focused question with enough detail to explain the audience or opportunity you want to understand.

  3. Optionally open preferences to set your marketing goal, audience, priority topics and sources to avoid. Save preferences.

  4. Select Start research and follow the current run’s progress.

  5. When it completes, read the findings, practical applications and linked evidence before using them.

What happens next

A research run records findings and sources that can inform current AI recommendations.

Good to know

Research uses external web evidence alongside business context. It is not a verified business policy and should not replace your own product facts.

Based on the Marketing Workspace interface reviewed 27 October 2026. Options can vary by role, plan and channel access.
