Return a post to internal review

Bring work back into the private team workflow when it needs another check.

Before you begin

Internal review permission; the post must allow reopening.

Here’s how to do it

  1. Open the post and choose Internal review.

  2. Check its current internal and client approval states.

  3. Use Return to internal review when the control is available.

  4. Add clear private feedback explaining what needs to change.

  5. Complete the internal review again before sending the updated work for client review.

What happens next

The post returns to the internal workflow and must be cleared again before client review.

If something isn’t working

  • Client-approved content may be locked. If the control is unavailable, check the post’s protected state rather than deleting and recreating it.
Based on the Marketing Workspace interface reviewed 27 October 2026. Options can vary by role, plan and channel access.
