Confirm payment and release downloads
Make the final download release an explicit, deliberate action.
Project owner with delivery-status controls.
Here’s how to do it
Verify the client payment using your agreed payment method outside the delivery-status control.
Open Delivery & payment in the project dashboard.
Select the Paid stage.
Read the confirmation explaining that delivered-file downloads will be released.
Select Confirm payment only when the funds have actually been received.
Open the client portal to check that the intended download actions are available.
What happens next
Normal client download actions become available for the delivered files.
Good to know
Do not mark a project Paid merely to preview the client screen or record verbal payment promises. This control does not itself charge the client.
