Pause an upload and continue safely

Use the upload controls without assuming a tab can preserve every local file.

Before you begin

An upload is in progress and offers a pause/retry control.

Here’s how to do it

  1. Keep the uploader open and use Pause uploads where the control is provided.

  2. Wait for active transfers to stop before changing the connection or retrying.

  3. Use the offered resume or retry action on the same upload flow.

  4. Reselect the local file if the interface asks for it and verify its identity.

  5. After completion, confirm the file appears in the destination section or task.

What happens next

The uploader can reuse valid completed transfer work where supported.

Good to know

Pause does not mean delete. A full browser reload or tab close cannot be assumed to preserve the initial project form or local File objects.

Based on the Project Delivery interface reviewed 27 October 2026. Options can vary by role, plan and channel access.
