Create and assign a production task

Turn the brief into clear, accountable pieces of work.

Before you begin

Managed-project owner and the task-management controls available to them.

Here’s how to do it

  1. Open the managed project and select The task.

  2. Choose the task-creation action and enter a title and optional description.

  3. Select the assignee from the project team.

  4. Choose the priority and due date where provided.

  5. Save the task and review its status and assignment.

What happens next

The task becomes a production destination for the assigned work.

Good to know

A task title becomes a client-facing section name when its approved work is published. Use a name suitable for the client.

Based on the Project Delivery interface reviewed 27 October 2026. Options can vary by role, plan and channel access.
