Review the actual file picker and validation messages for accepted extensions and current limits.
Use browser-friendly formats when you need reliable inline preview, and check the finished upload in the client view.
For videos, check playback and the generated poster after uploading instead of relying on a filename or file extension alone.
If a file cannot be previewed, use a compatible review version or follow the displayed error rather than repeatedly uploading the same unsupported file.

Good to know
Browser codec support, file size, account storage and the upload entry point can affect availability. A successful upload is not a guarantee that every browser can preview that file.
