Troubleshoot a delivery link or access code

Check the intended project and reviewer gate before retrying.

Before you begin

The client link and current code, or owner access to Client access.

Here’s how to do it

  1. Confirm you are opening the client portal link rather than an internal dashboard link.

  2. Ask the owner to check that the project still exists and copy the current portal link and code from Client access.

  3. Complete the name/email step and enter the code exactly as supplied.

  4. If the browser already has an unlocked session, refresh the portal and check the project phase rather than expecting the gates every time.

  5. For a managed project, ask whether approved work has actually been published to the client.

What happens next

You can distinguish an incorrect credential from a deleted project or unpublished managed delivery.

Good to know

Never send your creator password, access tokens or unrelated customer records to troubleshoot a client link.

Based on the Project Delivery interface reviewed 27 October 2026. Options can vary by role, plan and channel access.
