Understand the client view before and after publication

Know why a client may see task progress rather than final media.

Before you begin

The client link and access code, or the owner’s preview controls.

Here’s how to do it

  1. Open the managed project’s client link and pass the reviewer/access gates.

  2. Before publication, inspect the progress view and the brief information allowed for client visibility.

  3. Keep unpublished task previews internal; uploading an asset alone does not release it as a client file.

  4. After the owner publishes approved work, reopen or refresh the portal.

  5. Review the released files using the delivery portal’s feedback and approval controls.

What happens next

The client sees the project phase intended by the owner.

Good to know

Progress visibility is not the same as access to unpublished original task files. Payment/download release remains a separate delivery state.

Based on the Project Delivery interface reviewed 27 October 2026. Options can vary by role, plan and channel access.
