Recover from a failed portfolio upload

Inspect saved work and reuse the uploader’s available recovery controls.

Before you begin

The portfolio owner with an upload in progress or an existing section.

Here’s how to do it

  1. Read the transfer, preview or finalization error shown by the uploader.

  2. Keep the upload page open and use the offered retry/resume controls when available.

  3. Check Work for files that were already saved before selecting the same batch again.

  4. Reselect the local files if the uploader asks, and verify you are using the same intended section.

  5. After the operation completes, preview the collection and confirm the result.

What happens next

You recover the unsuccessful part of the upload without intentionally duplicating successful work.

Good to know

Large-file resume depends on valid session state and file identity. A browser reload cannot be assumed to preserve every form field or local file selection.

Based on the Portfolio interface reviewed 27 October 2026. Options can vary by role, plan and channel access.
